Education:  Rutgers University (B.A. 1972); Boston College School of Law (J.D. 1975).  Co-author: “Fighting for Your Children – A Father’s Guide to Custody" and "Solomon's Choice - A Guide to Custody for Ex-husbands Spurned Partners and Forgotten Grandchildren”.  Mr. Kent has authored numerous articles on family law, including custody matters, alimony and modification provisions. He has been an active participant in the Special Masters settlement programs (Danbury, Milford, New Haven, Bridgeport and Stamford).

Honors and Memberships:  Phi Beta Kappa, listed in “Best Lawyers in America” 2003 to date.  Case of Weidenbacher v. Duclos,  234 Conn. 51 (1995) was chosen by the Connecticut Law Tribune as the Family Law case of the year in 1995.  Selected by Westchester Magazine (2005) as one of the top lawyers in Fairfield County, Chairman Bridgeport Bar Association Family Law Committee, President, Connecticut Young Lawyers, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Connecticut Bar Association and Treasurer, Connecticut Bar Association.
